Join me for what will be the best 60 minutes of your day! We will move every part of ourselves to the expressiveness of dance, the power and precision of the martial arts, and the wisdom of the healing arts.

What To Expect

When you walk through the doors of your first Nia class you will see a variety of body types, a variety of ages, a variety of abilities…that is the beautiful signature of the Nia experience. You’ll hear inspiring, soul-stirring, music from all different genres that will stimulate your body, your brain, and your spirit in so many ways. You’ll be encouraged to let go, move freely, and trust your body’s wisdom.

You will learn

Simple steps that are repeated to create easy-to-follow patterns to activate and engage your brain while also conditioning your body. The class is adaptable to all fitness levels; it can be as high energy or gentle as you desire.


How To Create the BEST Nia Experience:

  • Bring a spirit of curiosity and play.
  • When learning something new it’s normal to feel confused or frustrated, stay open to the process.
  • When in doubt, just listen and dance to the music.
  • Start with the base moves [feet and legs] then add upper body.
  • Relish in the repetition, that’s how we learn.
  • Always listen to your body. Feel for the sensations that feel good.
