Physical sensations are an anchor to the present moment. Your body is the precious home for your spirit to express itself in the world. Listen to your body and honor its needs, whether that means resting or pushing yourself to new heights. 

Move

Our bodies are designed to move. Move your body in ways that feel good, without judgment, or expectation. Notice the rhythm of your steps and the beat of your heart. Joyful movement releases physical tension, reduces stress levels, and unlocks stagnant energy and emotions that are unknowingly locked in the body.

Breathe

Take a few deep breaths and tune into your physical sensations. Sense the moment. The past and your preconceived future are outside
of your power, but the present is fully available. Allow your awareness of each breath to deepen your connection to yourself and let go of distracting thoughts.

Play

Play for adults is profoundly important. Studies show that play helps the mind stay engaged in the present moment, boosts creativity, and helps us cope with stress. Play also releases endorphins, the body’s natural feel-good chemicals. Consider playing as an investment in your overall wellbeing.
